Solid body electric guitar (Body only)
CNC carved from (2-piece) solid European Beech Hardwood. This wood has a 1,300 LBF Janka hardness rating and is between Maple (1450lbf) and Mahogany (900 LBF). EU Beech is categorized as balanced, slightly bright, tight low end. Looks great stained, dyed or painted. The grain is very tight.
This body is carved for the stock classic Tele-single coil pick-up in the stock location mounted to a pickguard. the Bridge pick up is set up for a Humbucker that uses a stand alone mounting ring. It is set up for the stock Tele control plate. . It is carved to accept a 22-Fret TL style bolt on neck. I have 3 necks one from Amazon, one from E-bay and one from StewMac, they all fit the neck pocket perfectly. when the neck is pressed into the pocket you can hang the guitar and it holds the body securely. This body is set up for a Gibson / Epiphone style stop-bar and bridge. All parts to finish the body are readily available on Amazon or from many aftermarket suppliers (like Guyker). it uses a stock standard tele-style pickguard.
This body has a dragon and lettering “El Diablo” that is CNC carved to a depth of .10” . If you would like this body without the engraving, I can make you just about whatever you want.
The body is shipped unfinished and sanded to 120-grit. all edges are sharp and crisp (they can be rounded easily with sandpaper if that’s your style) You can finish this guitar with any components and finishes your creativity can come up with.
NOTE: This body does not come with a neck, pickguard, or any electronics. This is a bare body.
